Children's Christmas Workshop!

DECEMBER 9, 2017  from 10 am- 2 pm

Open to all children in the community ages Kindergarten-6th grade

This will be an opportunity for parents to drop their children off so they can go Christmas shopping- and while they are shopping, the kids can make gifts for their parents and siblings.

Lunch will be served to all children (hot dogs, chips and dessert- if your child has special dietary restrictions that exclude these foods from their diets, please pack a lunch for them and put their name on it)

There is no cost for this service, but if you wish to make a free will donation, the proceeds will help fund this and other children's ministry events, such as our summer Vacation Bible School.

PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYING FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE HURRICANES!

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) welcomes any and all financial donations for Hurricane Harvey, as well as all U.S. Disasters.  Remember that 100% of your donation will go to those in need, as all overhead fees for UMCOR are covered by the United Methodist church; no money from donations ever goes to overhead expenses.

To make a donation and help those in need at this time, follow this link:

UMCOR U.S. Disaster Response

If you would prefer to donate by phone, call 1-888-252-6174.  If you prefer your donation be directed at Disaster Relief here in the United States, ask that your donation go to Disaster Relief Advance #901670.

Looking for a way to help those in need that is more personal than just making a financial donation? Consider helping purchase items used for UMCOR relief kits. There are 3 types of kits that we are collecting items to prepare at this time. All of these kits are much in need. Consider helping buy supplies to assemble cleaning buckets- cleaning buckets will be in great demand for those who have suffered damage from storms and flooding and have to clean to salvage what is left. Follow this link to get the list of items needed to create a cleaning bucket: Cleaning Bucket  Or maybe you would prefer to donate items for hygiene kits, which are handed out to those who have lost their homes are are temporarily homeless. These little everyday items that we take for granted are vary much appreciated to those who don't have them. Here is the link to the items needed for each hygiene kit: Hygiene Kits.  Or consider donating items for school kits. Many of those who lost everything have so many things to replace, including school supplies. Donate supplies to create school kits to help supply children with the supplies they need, for a family that is struggling to have the resources to provide. Here is the link to find the supply list for School Kits: School Kit
