Edgerton United Methodist Church

                 Pastor Jennifer Miller

Greetings from the pulpit!  I am so grateful for the opporutnity to walk alongside you on your spiritual journey.  Our church is a place where we can grow together in faith, love, and service to God and one another.

As your pastor, I am committed to nurturing a community that reflects Christ's love and grace.  My prayer is that you feel embraced, encouraged, and inspired as we worship, learn, and serve together.

A little about me.... I was appointed as pastor of the Edgerton United Methodist church on July 15, 2023.  My husband, Nick, my step daughter, Cecilia, and foster daughter, A’laya, look forward to joining the Hicksville and Edgerton communities.

In my professional life I have been devoted to helping the homeless and those in need as a Housing Specialist for the HUD Section 8 voucher program.  I am currently on the board of the Williams County Sanctuary Homeless Shelter, the Economic Stability board, and Pillars of Success transitional housing board. After spending several years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer where we are the voice in court for children with troubled home circumstances I knew that God was calling us to be foster parents.

I was previously serving as a half time pastor at St. Paul and Sharon UMC in Napoleon, Ohio.  I am a certified Evangelist through the UMC Be a Disciple program. I started preaching in a nursing home in the dementia wing. Bringing communion to those who are shut ins and visiting those who are sick is an important part of my ministry. I am also very passionate about children’s ministry, fresh expressions, connecting with the community, mission and outreach, powerful prayer, and am not afraid to dream big when it comes to serving God.

Thank you for visiting our website and may God bless you abundantly!

Pastor Jennifer
